The challenge

We first met Olivia Grace at a local networking event. They’ve been designing and fitting bespoke kitchens, bedrooms, home offices and interiors around Grimsby for over fifteen years, but they’d never had a website. Their whole online presence ran through social media, which meant unless someone already knew the name, the business was effectively invisible to anyone searching online.

They were also in the middle of building a new showroom in Holton-le-Clay and wanted somewhere to properly feature it. People searching locally for bespoke kitchens or interior designers were finding competitors instead, and there was nowhere to send prospective clients to see past work. Fifteen years of high-end projects with nothing to show for them online.

When we met, they were clear about what they wanted: a proper online home for the business, something that matched the quality of what they produce, and help figuring out what a website like this should even contain.

Our approach

A lot of clients come to us in exactly this position. They know they need a website. They don’t know what should be on it, how the pages should be structured, or what content each page needs. That’s normal. Most of what we do on projects like this happens before any design work starts.

We had a few meetings with the team to understand how they sell, who their customers are, and what makes their work different. From there, we built the site plan and drafted the website content ourselves. That took the whole “what should we write?” problem off their plate and meant the pages were shaped around what actually matters to someone shopping for a premium kitchen or bespoke interior.

For the build, we chose a bespoke website build giving them a cutting-edge, fast-loading highly secure website. Pages load almost instantly and the site is straightforward to add to as the Olivia Grace portfolio grows. As a web design project in Grimsby, it also needed to work hard for local search. People comparing local kitchen fitters judge a business partly on how the site feels on their phone, so performance mattered.

Olivia Grace Interiors website design

The new showroom became a central part of the site. We built a dedicated showroom page so visitors can see what to expect before they visit, with location details, opening hours, and imagery of the kitchen displays and finishes.

We paired the build with SEO work aimed at local intent. With no previous website, there was no existing visibility to preserve, so we could set the foundations properly from day one: on-page structure, service pages targeted at the things people actually search for, and a site architecture that gives Google a clear picture of what the business does and where it operates.

The website also sits under our fully managed service, which is how we work with most of our clients. If Olivia Grace want to add a new project to the gallery, tweak a service page, update showroom opening hours, or add a whole new section, they tell us and we get it live. No logins, no CMS to maintain, no support tickets to chase. It’s the part of the offer we think matters most. A website only earns its keep if it stays current, and busy business owners rarely have the time or appetite to keep one updated themselves.

The results

The site is live and Olivia Grace now has an online presence that matches the quality of the work they’ve been producing for over fifteen years. Prospective customers can find them through search, browse the services, see the showroom before they visit, and get in touch without having to go through social media first.

Because the site is fully managed on our side, Olivia Grace don’t have to think about it. When they finish a new project they’re proud of, they send us the photos and we put it live. They get on with designing and fitting kitchens. We keep the website doing its job.
