## The challenge

CPRS (Complete Paint Repair Solutions) is a vehicle body repair and restoration specialist based in Tetney, just outside Grimsby. They handle accident repairs, paintwork and full restorations on everything from family cars to vans, caravans and classic vehicles, with a team carrying over 80 years of combined experience. We first met them at a local networking event.

The problem was their website. They were renting it from a well-known directory company on a monthly contract, and it was doing very little for them. It barely showed up in Google, the booking system was broken, and there was nothing on it that reflected the standard of work the team actually produces. They were paying every month for a website that brought in very little business.

The old website gave them no real control. They were paying for a site they couldn't update easily. When they did want changes, the process was slow and complex. The website also lacked a case study area, giving them no way to show off the projects coming through the workshop. For a business whose work speaks for itself, this was a big issue.

## Our approach

We sat down with the team to work out what the site actually needed to do. The brief was simple: bring in more enquiries, show the standard of the work, and do it without spending more than they were already paying out each month.

We rebuilt the site from scratch as a [bespoke website](/services/web-design/), fast-loading and shaped around the way people search for body repair and restoration work. We wrote the [website content](/services/web-design/website-content/) ourselves, so every page is built around their services and the things local customers actually look for. As a [web design project in Grimsby](/web-design-grimsby/), it had to work hard for local search, so we paired the build with [SEO](/services/marketing-consultancy/seo/): keyword research, competitor analysis, and the on-page structure the rented site never had.

We also gave them somewhere to show their work. The old site had no way to feature a finished job, so we built a case studies section into the new one, a proper home for the projects coming out of the workshop, from everyday accident repairs to full classic restorations.

The quote process got an overhaul too. We built a branded online quote system into the site, so customers can request a price in a couple of minutes and the team can turn around fast, accurate quotes without the usual back-and-forth. Less admin on every enquiry, and an easier first step for the customer.

The spend stayed the same, but properly managed and pointed at the searches that bring in actual work rather than clicks that go nowhere. Alongside it we run their [social media](/services/marketing-consultancy/social-media/), creating and posting content that keeps the workshop in front of people between jobs.

## The results

CPRS now have a website that does the business justice, and it costs them no more than before, with managed Google Ads and social media working alongside it. More leads and more enquiries, for the same spend.

The case studies section turned into the standout. We published a write-up of a full respray on a Land Rover Defender, taking it from its old orange to a deep classic green, and shared it across social. It caught on. The interest reached well beyond Grimsby, and they have since had enquiries from people happy to travel across the country to have similar work done. A section that simply shows the work has helped turn CPRS into a name people associate with it.

Because the site is fully managed on our side, none of this lands back on the team. They finish a job they are proud of, send over the photos, and we put it live. They stay on the tools. We keep the website, the ads and the social presence doing their jobs.
